Depois de tantas ausências e regressos estou de volta, de vez, ao blogue. O post que vos trago foi fruto de uma tarde dedicada à fotografia para um portfólio para a faculdade. 

After so many absences and returns I'm back to the blog. The post that I bring you was the result of an afternoon dedicated to photography in order to do a portfolio to college.

É incrível como a minha própria cidade consegue surpreender-me sempre. Hoje andei pela baixa com uma amiga e acabámos por ir almoçar a um cantinho de que ela já me havia falado há uns dias. Foi ótimo pois é dos lugares mais mimosos em que alguma vez já tive o gosto de comer.

Há tantos recantos pelos quais nunca me perdi... E admito: tenho pena. 

It's amazing how my own city always surprise me. Today I walked through downtown with a friend and we ended up having lunch at a little coffe shop that she had already told me about a few days ago. It was great because it is one of the most lovely places where I ever had the pleasure of eating.

There are so many places where I never let myself to lost me... And I admit: I'm sorry.

Para mim, Dezembro é sinónimo de lareiras acesas, comidas caseiras, chocolates quentes e muito amor. É também sinónimo de alegria e pequenos luxos. É o mês de transição para o ano seguinte e, por isso, também sinónimo de mudança - para melhor! 

Por tudo isso, a cor à qual associei o mês de Dezembro foi o burgundy pelas razões mais óbvias. Esta cor, que tem estado presente nos mais diversos lugares esta estação, transmite-nos sensualidade e conforto - o que toda a mulher deseja! Por isso mesmo, na casa, no armário ou até em pequenos miminhos ela está presente! E convenhamos... é muito bem-vinda!

For me, December is synonymous of fireplaces, home cooked meals, hot chocolates and lots of love. It is also synonymous of joy and little luxuries. It is the month of transition for the following year so, for me, it also means change - for the better!

Because of that the color which I associated to December was the burgundy by the most obvious reasons. This color, which has been present everywhere this season, gives us the sensation of sensuality and comfort - that every woman wants! Therefore, in the house, in the closet or even in small gifts it is present! And let's face it... it is welcome!
