ON MY BEDSIDE

Não é sempre que faço posts de decoração aqui no blogue mas, com o início de Agosto, decidi começar a trazer-vos alguns posts deste género com as mudanças que vou fazendo pelo meu quarto. A razão principal é mesmo a ansiedade pela chegada do Outono e remodelação parcial do meu quarto - e refiro-me não a mobília, não a pinturas mas, claramente, a objetos de decoração que irão variando conforme a estação. Desta vez deixo-vos a visão geral e pormenorizada da minha mesa de cabeceira que, para este mês, já está como eu planeava - com cores, flores, purpurinas, revistas, perfumes, bijuteria, sapatos e, claro, uma moldura com a minha descendência académica! 

I'm not always doing decor posts here on the blog but with August beginning I decided to start bringing you posts with all the changes I will be making on my bedroom. The main reason is the urgency I have on autumn to come and, because of that, the partial remodeling of my room - and I mean no furniture, no paintings, but clearly the decorative items that will be changing there according to the season. This time I bring you some pictures of my bedside table decor for this month - very colorful, with flowers, glitter, magazines, perfumes, jewelry, shoes and of course a frame with my academic godchildren!

Por estes dias fui contactada por uma lojinha online para estabelecer uma parceria. Obviamente que não poderia ter ficado mais feliz - não só pelos artigos mas pelo reconhecimento. Como já perceberam a loja foi a DRESSLINK que, por sinal tem artigos mega bonitos por preços absurdamente baixos. Assim que comecei a vasculhar o site para ver se algo me agradava fui surpreendida com as peças que fui encontrando, obviamente pelo lado positivo. Os artigos que vêem em cima foram as minhas escolhas e posso dizer-vos que foi amor à primeira vista no caso de três delas - a blusa, a carteira e os óculos. A blusa é um género de alter top em chiffon, com as costas um bocadinho abertas e que tem um cair lindíssimo no corpo. Obviamente que, de entre todas as cores disponíveis escolhi o preto - não fosse a mais intemporal, clássica e elegante de todas! O vestido branco foi também uma das escolhas porque é sempre um must para os dias mais quentes - só espero que não seja muito transparente. A mala foi outra paixão. No inverno, há dias em que me sinto mesmo com vontade de pegar num all black outfit mas acabo por não o fazer por não ter nenhuma peça statement que me consiga completar o look. Como o bordeaux tem tudo a ver com outono, inverno, frio e lãs, foi nesta cor que a escolhi. Não é gigante nem minúscula e é ótima para aqueles dias em que queremos levar apenas o necessário - mais uma coisita ou duas! Por fim, mas não menos importante, os óculos, espelhados, diferentes de todos os que tenho e que me fizeram pensar "ou estes ou nenhuns" acabaram, também, por ir parar ao carrinho de compras. A Rhianna que se cuide...

Queria, desde já, agradecer ao querido do Miguel Gouveia, do blogue Pieces Of Me (e se não conhecem o blogue, corram a ver), que é um querido e que me ajudou imenso a fazer a encomenda e a tratar de todas as "burocracias" e coisas do género - sem ele não tinha feito mesmo nem metade e provavelmente não teria conseguido ir para a frente com esta parceria. These days I was contacted by an online shop to establish a partnership. Obviously I could not have been happier. How you have already realized the online shop was DRESSLINK which has super nice items for very low prices. As I began to see if there was something I liked I was surprised, in a positive way, with the things I saw. The articles you see above were my choices and I can tell you it was love at first sight with three of them - the shirt, the bag and the glasses. The top is a kinf of alter one in chiffon, with a small opening on the back. Obviously, from all available colors I chose black - the most timeless, classic and elegant of them all! The white dress was also one of the choices because it is always a must for the hottest days - I hope it's not very transparent. The bag was another passion. In winter there are days when I feel like picking up an all black outfit but I end up not doing it for not having any statement piece that can complete the look. As bordeaux has everything to do with fall, winter, cold and wool, it was this color that I chose. It is not huge nor tiny, and it's great for those days when you just want to carry your essencials. The last but not the least, the glasses, mirrored, different from all those I have and that made me think "it is or these or none" ended up in the shopping cart too. Rhianna you'd better watch out...

SPORTY FEET

Apesar das minhas preferências recairem sob peças mais clássicas, há muito que queria apostar em algo fácil de usar nos meus (muitos) lazy days. Também já andava super inspirada em imagens do pinterest com sneakers da NIKE (principalmente os rush running) e, por isso, assim que vi estes na lefties a um preço estupidamente baixo decidi investir. Caminhar com eles é mesmo como andar nas nuvens - eu imagino - e o mais giro é que têm purpurinas por todo o lado! Tão girly, tão a minha cara! As calças rasgadas em baixo também são uma novidade por aqui e tenho adorado tanto a tendência que não pude resistir. Se alguma vez pensei vestir isto? Not really... Mas há sempre uma primeira vez para tudo!

Despite my preference for more classic footwear, I was searching for something easy to use in lazy days for a long time now. As I was super inspired by pinterest images with NIKE sneakers (mainly rush running ones) when I saw these in lefties I decided to invest in it. Walking with them is the same as walking in the clouds - I imagine - and what is cute about them is that they have a kind of glitter everywhere! So girly, that's me! The pseudo ripped jeans are also new here and I love this trend so much I could not resist. If I ever thought I would wear this? Not really... But there's always a first time for everything!
